SPEAKER: Alex Kwechansky

SPEAKER BIO: Alex Kwechansky specializes in reorganization work-outs and direct management for overextended, insolvent businesses and professionals. His fraud advisory services include financial statement due diligence and operationsstudies.

These activities originate from his hands-on finance and operations experience in retailing, manufacturing and entertainment. These firms range in size from startups to acquisitions and established companies.

His management responsibilities include bankruptcy reorganizations, creditor negotiations and operational management.  The entertainment work has included film project development, production and distribution.  While working foraccounting firms early in his career, he investigated numerous operational and control breakdowns that resulted in fraud.

He designs and implements asset controls and procedures for purchase order financing for Asian 
manufacturers.

Since 1981, he has developed and taught courses at UCLA's Extension Business School.  All courses were developed from his and his clients' experiences.
